About Kirby Crow

Kirby Crow is the author of numerous works of romantic fantasy and speculative fiction, including the beloved Scarlet and the White Wolf series and the critically acclaimed Malachite and Hammer and Bone. Her stories often blend elements of high fantasy, gay romance, and contemporary fiction.

Kirby's early interest in classical fiction and folklore heavily influenced her unique storytelling style. Her writing is known for lyrical prose, emotionally driven romance, and richly textured fantasy worlds. Whenever she isn't playing in Middle Earth or flying a battleship for the glory of the Amarr Empire, she can be found in the kitchen, her garden, or at the keyboard, tapping away at her next book.

Kirby shares an old, lopsided house in the Blue Ridge with her husband and a clowder of extremely opinionated cats.
